The NNormal runner achieves a clean sweep: winning the prologue, the race, and the overall series
October 14, 2025 — NNormal athlete Elhousine Elazzaoui has wrapped up an unforgettable season after being crowned 2025 Golden Trail World Series Champion, successfully defending the title he won in 2024. Elazzaoui shone in the final held at Ledro Sky in Trentino, Italy, where he triumphed in both the prologue and the main race, sealing a perfect season with four victories and the maximum possible score: 1,000 points.
The decisive stage — 21 kilometers with 1,600 meters of elevation gain — delivered a show worthy of the circuit: an explosive pace from the first kilometers along Lake Ledro, a demanding climb up to Cima Pari, and a technical descent where everything was decided. Elhousine remained calm in the most strategic sections, running intelligently against top-level rivals such as Patrick Kipngeno and Paul Machoka.
With five kilometers to go, Elazzaoui launched his final attack on rolling terrain, leaving his pursuers behind and crossing the finish line as both race winner and overall champion.

With this victory, Elazzaoui completes the circuit with a perfect streak of wins in Zegama-Aizkorri (Spain), Broken Arrow Skyrace (USA), Tepec Trail (Mexico), and this grand final in Italy.
