NNormal introduces Cadí: the trail running shoe that invites everyone to discover the mountains and their trails
Cadí joins the Tomir and Kjerag franchises, offering an accessible option for a wide range of runners

NNormal, the brand founded by Camper and Kilian Jornet in 2022, introduces Cadí, its first trail running shoe designed to help more people get started and enjoy the mountains. Created for the majority of trail runners—and especially for those new to the sport—Cadí performs best on easier terrain and over longer distances, delivering a comfortable, stable and durable experience.
Its focus is on comfort, balanced cushioning, a wider and more accessible fit, and a clean design that prioritises functionality. Cadí is a shoe designed to accompany runners on their first outings in the mountains—and on all those that follow.
“We wanted to develop a shoe that removes barriers and builds confidence from the very first step. Cadí is our way of saying that trail running is for everyone,” explains Birte Fahrbach, Head of Product at NNormal.
The pillars of Cadí: comfort and durability
Cadí has been developed to deliver comfort and durability, with a construction designed for prolonged use and a stable ride. The development process was carried out in close collaboration with NNormal athletes Emelie Forsberg and Joyce Njeru, whose testing and feedback were key to defining fit, performance and comfort from a female perspective.
In addition, Cadí features women-specific versions, with dedicated volumes, sizing, and colourways designed to ensure an optimal fit and feel for the female anatomy.

A name with a hidden story
The name Cadí comes from the Serra del Cadí, an iconic rocky mountain range in the Pyrenees where Kilian Jornet was born, grew up and discovered his passion for the mountains—a place that symbolises accessible nature and the coexistence of people of all levels in the mountains. This spirit defines the shoe, conceived as a gateway to trail running and designed for those who want to explore the mountains without compromising on comfort and security.
Colours and availability
Cadí will be available from March 3rd at nnormal.com and in selected physical stores, with a recommended retail price of £140 or $175. The model will be offered in several colourways: for women, brown, green and beige; and for men, black, green, blue and beige.
