NNormal presents the Kjerag 02, faster by nature
This new model retains the best parts of the original Kjerag and introduces an improved midsole and a better upper, both designed to deliver greater speed

NNormal, the sports equipment brand founded by Kilian Jornet and Camper in 2022, is launching an evolved model from the Kjerag 01, the Kjerag 02. This new shoe is a bold evolution of its high-performance trail shoe, designed to meet the demands of the fastest runners.
Born from the momentum of the original Kjerag and refined with insight from elite athletes and everyday runners alike, the Kjerag 02 is built for one thing: speed with purpose. It’s the shoe you reach for when the trail calls for intensity – for intervals, steep climbs, and the kind of training sessions that forge the athlete within.
At NNormal, new models are only introduced when meaningful improvements can be made. The original Kjerag was launched three years ago, and after extensive research, testing, and development, the brand is proud to present a truly upgraded version: the Kjerag 02.
While the outsole remains untouched – keeping the same industry-leading grip and durability – nearly everything else has been dialed in to help runners move more efficiently, more responsively, and with more confidence on the trail, ultimately translating into a faster shoe.

Kjerag 02 debut in the US
The Kjerag 02 is made for any runner in pursuit of a personal best – whether that’s measured in minutes, meters, or simply how strong you feel when you move through nature.
The shoe will debut where performance speaks loudest: Broken Arrow and the legendary Western States 100 – where speed isn’t just a number, but a way of being.
Kilian Jornet, Joyce Njeru, and Elhousine Elazzaoui will be using this new model in highly demanding races. These will be just the first of many moments where the Kjerag 02 proves its place at the top – on the toughest trails.
Colours and availability
The new model goes on sale for a retail price of €190 and will be available in two colours, Black and Vermouth. The Kjerag 02 will be available for preorder on nnormal.com starting June 24. Orders will begin shipping on August 1, the same date the shoe will also be available in select retail stores.
